No doubt, de first ting you want to do after getting off de plane is to see wha' your new place ah residence looks like, and den bus' a sleep. Unfortunately, you still have some traveling to do, as you more than likely flew into Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen, which is ah 20 minutes outside of Malmö, Sweden. If you arrived on a nice sunny day, de train ride will allow you a fantastic view of de water (the Öresund Strait) from the Öresund Bridge that you will be speeding over.
The train run on de underside of de bridge, and permits unobstructed views of de water. When de sun is out, it is a welcoming trip into Malmö Central Station.
So, collect your bags, exit the terminals into the main lobby in Kastrup, and then make your way to the information booth (you really cyan miss it), and purchase yuh train ticket. Once on the platform, you will see the the time schedule (there really is a schedule), and the lights on the platform will light up when the train is coming. Double check the destination and hop on. Doh 'fraid.
At Malmö Central Station, you only need to find the main exit. Once outside you will be at the bus terminal (all green buses), and taxi stand. If you are staying anywhere near Lilla Torg or Stortorget, then depending on the load, a ten minute walk will get you to your new home. If you have no idea where you are going, then find the information booth inside the train station. If yuh stomach growling after all dem hours on the plane, food and refreshment can be found at Expresso House, Burger King, or several other food stalls.
Sweden is all about the 'fika' - liming, with a coffee in place of the sweet drink, and a pastry, in place of the doubles.

So, Yuh Jus' Reach
I figure that I can't be the only recent transplant, and I know for a fact that there are many Trinis already here, who probably had the same experiences and more since moving to Sweden.
I decided that a little help may go a long way, and I'm sure non-Trinis will find this information just as helpful. The difference of course is that, in being a Trini, your view on life and all the drama that can come with it, is usually tempered by the warm memories of a life less hectic, back in good ol' Trinidad.
Most things you will be able to take in stride.
